Olympia Makes OLYMPIC Mistake

Olympia movers were asked to leave our home. The original estimate tripled when the movers came, as they claimed they needed more packing materials and would require more hours to pack our belongings (eight hours to be exact, which is more time than our previous movers needed when we moved cross-country, had more belongings and fewer people to help). We asked to speak to their supervisor, whose clever response after claiming he was part owner of the company was, and “handle it with the driver." Needless to say, they did not move our belongings anywhere. Thankfully, our landlord was able to let us stay one more day. We called Bernard Movers who came in the next day and provided a quote that was 20 percent higher. Not only was it done in less than five hours, they were right on target for their estimate. We are one of the fastest growing companies in Chicago and are regularly receiving new employees or transferring employees. They lost a lot of potential leads.
