Worth the Money in the End
The guys arrived at the end of the two-hour arrival window, but worked efficiently to get things packed as quickly as possible. We made sure all items were ready to go before they arrived to ensure everything went quickly. They made sure that our furniture was wrapped well to avoid damage, which took longer than I expected but in the end was worth it as we did not have any damage to our things.
The movers were not fully prepared with tools to take down the furniture, which could have been a major issue as we are charged by the hour. We had left out our tools just in case so we were fine. I recommend you leave out your tools just in case.
Know that the drive time charged should be estimated as a one-way trip driving 65 mph and then times by two as they are required to charge round-trip. All in all the price is well worth it to have energy to unpack and avoid the fatigue that goes with toting boxes all day. Our move was for an upstairs two-bedroom apartment (no appliances) and took 5 hours from start to finish (including a 15 minute one way drive time) with average amount of furniture and approximately 20 boxes.
