Very Disappointing
Due to my profession, I have moved across the country several times. This was the most unpleasant experience. Nationwide was very careless throughout the entire process.
They guaranteed a 4/30 pickup (or 5/1 as it states in fine print) yet could not deliver on that guarantee. After calling and emailing numerous times during the 72 hours prior to my move, I finally received a phone call at 3:00pm on 4/30 (the date of my pickup)!
I was told they could not find anyone to pick up my furniture and that someone might be able to pick it up on the second or at the latest, the third of May. Not only was this a great inconvenience as my lease ended on 4/30, but Nationwide did not seem to even care about the potential costs and hassle that their incompetance had caused.
I asked for confirmation for the later pickup, yet never received it. Again, I called numerous times on multiple numbers until I was able to reach someone and confirm. Unfortunately, my pickup was even later than this second "guaranteed" pickup.
My original pickup was on 4/30 and my furniture was not picked up until 5/4. The actual movers were very nice and quick once they arrived. Unfortunately, Nationwide had not given them my correct information (delivery address, payment info, etc.) so the driver and I had to work everything out. My furniture was delivered safely by the movers but no thanks to Nationwide.....very disappointing.
