California Golden Bears coach Jeff Tedford moving out of SoCal home

August 29, 2012 - While college football coaches may not be the average celebrity partaking in California real estate, the University of California's coach has listed his multi-million dollar home in Danville for sale.

Realtor.com reports that Jeff Tedford and his wife originally purchased the estate for $3.15 million back in 2005, while it has now appeared on the market with a significantly higher asking price of $5.35 million. The house sits on two acres of land and offers 8,900 square feet of living space including five bedrooms and seven bathrooms.

According to the source, the Mediterranean-style home was constructed in 1981 and has numerous upgrades that should have buyers moving boxes in in no time, including a game room, wine cellar and an in-home theater.

Photos of the home showcase a traditionally-designed home with a lot of floor-to-ceiling windows that allow in plenty of natural light. The property also offers panoramic views, while the basketball court and putting green may be perk the interest of celebrity buyers.
