Watch out for Apartment Movers
Apartment Movers offered us a flat rate for a two-bedroom apartment move at $398 to include two men and a truck--no packing materials or packing help was provided. When the movers showed up, they said we had too many boxes, so they charged us another $62 dollars (under the table) or they wouldn't move our items. They stated that the company would charge much more than that. They tried to work fast--as it was flat rate--where one of our bookcases got destroyed. They argued about the matter so we called their manager. He agreed to compensate us $100, but a few days later after several phone calls, he came out and commented that the destroyed bookcase wasn't even worth $50 and then left without taking any further action, so we will not even get compensated any for their bad work. I would not recommend this company-they are crooks.
