Do not use Elite Moving and Storage
I personally never fill out online reviews. However, I felt that I had to because of my experience with Elite Moving and Storage. First, Elite moving was supposed to pick up my stuff by Wednesday morning. I was then told that they would call me 24 hours in advance to let you know, precisely when they would be there. By Tuesday afternoon I had not heard from them, so called them. They then told me that my stuff was not going to be able to pick up until Thursday morning (this time again had to be moved). After they finally got there, I called them again to find out the problem to try and get some very minimal reimbursement for playing their games. When I spoke to them, they said, there was no way for them to give me any sort of credit towards my move, because despite the delays; when I agreed for the move to take place on Thursday (which is questionable to begin with), according to them I was acting in my best interest. He then went on to say that if I was not being selfish or self-centered, (i.e. wait for them to get to place late in the night, then help the movers pack up my stuff) I still could have left on Wednesday. On top of this, my boxes are severely damaged most of them are dented, ripped, torn, or severely smashed. I also have one box that did not make it to the drop off location which contained a computer. I managed the same move a year earlier, with very little damage to boxes and lost nothing. I would not recommend that you use this company. They only care about the bottom line and do not respect you as a customer or a person. If I could I would go back in time and pay more money.
