First Choice is the last choice anyone should choose

They lie to get you in the door. When they pick up your belongings – even though items are included in your original binding estimate – they still charge you. There are hidden processes and fees. When you call for questions or to complain there is no customer service and they give you the run around until you contact the Better Business Bureau. They do things without your consent. They never are courteous. They throw your belongings around. They refuse to provide you reasons why things are done. They refuse to validate extra charges or amount of space actually used. The communication skills are horrible. They use third party companies to do all of their work and they tell them one story and you another. They expect you to pay upon pick up in full before the unload belongings and go over inventory when you have already paid more than 60 percent of the costs up front. They refuse to negotiate and will talk to you with disrespect. If I had listened to the negative press about them in the first place I wouldn't have had the issues I've had. Lastly, even if they are at fault they will blame you. Be careful be warned. If you need your items by a certain date don't use them. I had many broken and missing items when delivered. I would not recommend that you use 1^st Choice Moving and Storage.
