We recently moved between two houses - approximately five minutes away. We had moved most of the smaller items ourselves with only a few pieces of furniture and two mattresses remaining. The company charged us for an hour of travel time, calculating the time it took them to reach us from their warehouse. We also found that the move was a lot longer than we anticipated and the movers were a bit slow and not quite as efficient as we would have liked.
