First Choice should be your last choice
Estimate was not even close to actual moving costs; Moving company would not give an estimated arrival date and every time I received a different answer. When the furniture finally arrived, the truck had nine other households moves included, so truck was too massive to fit our driveway. I was then forced to wait another day while the furniture was loaded onto a smaller truck. I was charged an additional $600 for a "shuttle" fee. The mover was so hurried that I couldn't take inventory of everything coming into the house. I was reluctant to sign the inventory sheet, but the mover was insistent. Within minutes of his departure, I found many items missing and many damaged. Because I signed the inventory list, I had no recourse. I had an estimated $3,200 of missing or damaged items.
