Do not hire starlight relocation
The move itself was generally OK, but didn't like the price.
The movers spent extra time and supplies 'wrapping' my furniture. They wrapped my mattress, boxspring, 2 leather chairs and the couch for $25 a piece. I told them I did not want the items wrapped, that it was not included in the estimate and I was not going to pay for it.
After discussion, the guy told me it was company policy to have the items wrapped. I called the company and told them I wanted a copy of the company policy. I have to receive it. What they did fax to me as addendum F an itemized list of what it cost to wrap furniture.
Again, something I didn't want or need. Then, because they held my items hostage, they ran over a half hour from my estimate and charged me another hour of labor. I will have a letter mailed to them next week and will file in small claims court if no response.
