I wouldn't recommend Moving Experts to anyone. Although the individuals who did the actual move were professional, the individuals who own the company were rude and unprofessional. I was quoted an additional 2 hrs over my original quote of 3 hrs. The additional time was one 1 hr. Also, I requested that the
movers provide proof of liability insurance and workers compensation upon their arrival. They only provided proof of liability insurance. I had to call the owner to get the proof of worker's compensation. I do not believe I should be charged for the 20 mins it took for the owner to provide the proof. However, when I discussed the overcharge of hours for the move and the 20 mins for proof of insurances, the owner informed me he would only refund me $15.00 because the movers were done early. He should of refunded me $85.00 for the entire extra hr. When I explained to him that I should not pay for the time spent gathering insurance information, since I requested the information up front, the owner became very angry and agitated. He refused to discuss the matter and hung up on me. This is no way to conduct a business. I have not been able to reach him since to talk about this matter. I have however, contacted the BBB and a local TV station.
