Moving Experts: Caution
Where to begin?! I would not recommend this company to anyone in any way, shape or form. Was given a six-hour pick-up window; but they showed up four hours late and never called to inform me of this. I had to call them to find out where they were. Things were not packaged professionally, but the pick-up staff was very professional and efficient once there. No idea what happened in transport, but boxes marked "fragile" were clearly not treated as such. Delivery was a nightmare, period. Driver arrived late, called angry with me because he could not fit his semi in the alley (when I know for a fact that semi's pull in there all the time). He was irrate with me and hung up on me twice. Turns out he was at the wrong address and never bothered to check his paperwork prior to yelling at me. He also yelled at and hung up several times on family members who were simply trying to help him find the right property. Once there, his assistant quit on him after the driver screamed at him in the street (I'd have quit too). Then he proceeded to unload the truck by himself, taking twice as long. He never reassembled furniture (which was in the contract) and left furniture still wrapped in moving blankets. This
moving company has been 100 percent unresponsive to any of my phone calls. I was assured that "the manager" would be calling me; however no such call have been made. I would not recommend that you use this company.
