Don't Be Surprised
The rate was $50 more an hour than I what I was told it was going to be. They didn't start when they said they would and took a longer lunch than 45 minutes (that was after he was so kind to tell me I didn't have to buy the three guys their lunches). They also complained because I had more stuff in the attic than what they saw when they first looked up there and they told me they weren't sure if they were going to be able to move all my stuff (even though it was already all boxed and furniture was already broken down and wrapped before they even came). If the truck was packed better they might not had to have taken two trips and/or some of my stuff wouldn't have gotten broken (desk, glasses and a dresser) It is now almost two weeks later and I'm still finding boxes in odd areas of the new house (bedroom boxes in the garage, living room boxes in the kitchen, etc.) even though the only thing written on the boxes beside a number was what room the box was to go into. It took a lot longer than I was told (which was even more money), and to top it off the guy had the audacity to casually inform me that I could include the tip in the check I wrote.
