Texas to Pa, everything fell into place. Initially hired company to pack as well but packed most of my things prior. There was still a lot for them to do - have a lot of glass shelves etc. They disassembled furniture and packed in record time, though they weren't rushing.
Very efficient, nice guys (3)- I totally underestimated how much I had, but the person taking the estimate wasn't as thorough as she should have been. It is very hard to estimate over the phone. Every single piece of any type of furniture counts. I knew it would cost me more and I didn't flinch when I got my final bill. It was still almost half of a major moving company quote!
The truck arrived on time, again - nice, efficient guys (2) that worked diligently til the last box was off the truck. The few things broken were due to my poor packing techniques and the free store boxes that I used. I highly recommend purchasing moving boxes for breakables. Remember there is a lot of stress put on the boxes...stacked to the top of the truck, along with bumps along the ride. It is not fair to blame the movers on it if your packing techniques are less than professional!
American Knights did a fantastic job. I would hire them again and highly recommend them!!
