nice guys, moved slow
The movers were 20 minutes late... they were really nice, but things moved very slowly, and they didnt bring any extra boxes with them. We were offered $40 in moving supplies, and I requested extra boxes, but none were brought with. Quite a few things were broken upon delivery, although not sure if they were previously damaged or not since we were not at the storage unit the entire time they were moving.
What started out as a 4 hour estimate of $360 turned into a nearly 5 hour move, and this included us helping unload into the apartment. While we do admit that the pre-packing was not done very well by us, it still would have helped to have had extra boxes on hand.
The loading seemed to take longer than the unloading also, even though the loading was down the hall on the same level, while the unloading was on the 2nd floor with no dolly use.
