Good Experience
I was very skeptical about using a
moving company because of the horror stories I had heard. I was very nervous so I asked a lot of questions and probably drove my rep crazy, but she was very patient with me. Overall I had a great experience with this company. However, I was disappointed with my reps knowledge of approx. weight that my move would cost. I expected to go over the pounds allotted and expected the extra cost. I just wished I would have known a better total cost up front. One thing to be cautious of is the number and sizes of boxes you order. I had to pay additional cost for boxes because my movers used any box they felt necessary to get my move done, so they didn't utilize all the boxes sizes I purchased. Therefore, I had extra boxes in certain sizes and had to purchase the additional boxes in the other sized that I had not expected. Again, I expected some additional expenses but not $600. Overall, I had a great experience and was able to get the attention I need and had all of my return calls answered. My recommendation is to pay close the following: - Weight of the moving truck before and after they pick up your items. Go with them to the weight station and don't allow them to fill up with gas during this time. - Watch the weight amount closely and make sure they don't round up. They tried to do this with me. - Get the correct number of boxes in the right size Good luck!
