February 17, 2012 - Real estate sites are buzzing after sources report singer turned Broadway performer, Nick Jonas, is renting the penthouse of NHL star Scott Gomez.The property was listed to rent for $23,000 each month but he will reportedly be moving boxes in for a little less at $20,000. Former renter and clothing designer Marc Jacobs reportedly only paid $15,000 while living in the home. Gomez purchased the home back in 2007 for $3.2 million.Jonas, first known for being in Disney music group The Jonas Brothers has since starred in films including Camp Rock and more recently landed a role on the Broadway production of How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying. Gomez used to play for the New Jersey Devils but now skates for Montreal.The penthouse is located at the Chelsea Mercantile and has over 2,000 square feet of living space including three bedrooms and three bathrooms as well as a large outdoor terrace.It has not been reported if Jonas has already begun moving, but the location of the home is convenient while he is performing on Broadway.
