Live like a Hilton, or at least rent from one
May 11, 2011 - The former Hollywood Hills home of socialite and reality television maven Paris Hilton is available to renters, according to Yahoo! Real Estate.
Hilton purchased the home in 2004 for $2.9 million. In a bid for more privacy after her incarceration in 2007, Hilton packed up, moved out and put her house on the real estate market for $4.25 million, according to The Wall Street Journal.
Hilton is no stranger to controversy. Her most recent media-ready scandal was caused by a few off-color remarks about former friend and interminably troubled star Lindsay Lohan. According to Celebrity News and Style, Hilton and Lohan have recently reconciled, allowing celebrity watchers every where to breathe a sigh of relief.
The four-bedroom home was built in 1929, and includes a pool, jacuzzi and a waterfall. Hilton undertook extensive renovations while she owned the property, and her efforts to design and decorate have been preserved by the new homeowners. As a result, renters will benefit from enormous walk-in closets, beaded walls and life-sized photos of the heiress at every turn, according to AOL Real Estate.
The monthly fee to live like a well-bred socialite? A mere $20,000 a month.
