Kyle MacLachlan needs moving services in Los Angeles
July 26, 2011 - Pressed and polished actor Kyle MacLachlan has made his Hollywood Hills home available to renters looking to have some of his "Sex in the City" charm rub off on them, according to the Real Estalker.
MacLachlan, who has also starred in classic film oddities like "Blue Velvet" and cult favorite "Twin Peaks," spends the majority of his time in New York City with his wife and their child. As such, the actor has joined the ranks of many thrifty celebs who opt to lease sparsely used properties rather than let them sit unused, the source reports.
The four-bedroom, five-bathroom property looks like it was plucked from the English countryside and dropped in the midst of the Los Angeles heat. Lush landscaping and vintage stonework greet guests as they make their way up the drive toward the home's French door entryway, according to West Side Estate Agency, the real estate agents handling the listing.
The home, which is available fully-furnished, comes complete with a chef's kitchen, breakfast room, and library. There is also a pool, home gym, and guest house for visitors. Those who entertain guests after moving in may want to charge a nightly rate however, as the property will set them back $20,000 per month, according to the source.
