Actor Kevin Bacon and wife moving to new home in Los Angeles

February 22, 2012 - Real estate blog The Real Estalker reports that acting pair Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick may be needing movers for their recent home purchased in Los Angeles. The source says the Hollywood couple paid $2.5 million for the hillside pad which previously belonged to film executive Lia Vollack, who purchased the home back in 2007 for a slightly lower pricetag of $2.45 million.

The home was reportedly built in 1957 and offers nearly 2,760 square feet of living space including three bedrooms and three-and-a-half bathrooms. The Real Estalker says the home has an open floorplan and warm wood floors paired with beamed ceilings give the home a warm yet modern look. Another aesthetically pleasing feature of the home is the floor-to-ceiling glass doors that will give the actors a view of the canyon as well as a look at Griffith Park Observatory.

It has not been reported if the couple has set an official moving day, but they will likely not be in a rush as the blog states they have other properties throughout the country. The Real Estalker says Bacon and Sedgwick have a home on 40 acres of land in Connecticut as well as an apartment in New York.
