Zynga founder Marc Pincus moving out of San Francisco home
November 4, 2011 - Marc Pincus, creator of online games such as Farmville, Words with Friends and Mafia Wars, is selling his San Francisco mansion for $8.9 million. The social-network gaming community blew up and everyone has played a game created by Zynga, or at least knows someone who has.
From the outside, the home looks very traditional, as it was built on an extra large lot and has a breathtaking courtyard entrance. It is pushed back from the streets, providing extra privacy. Inside, the home is very modern with cool accent pieces and pops of color including the entryway with green lacquered walls.
The property has six bedrooms and six-and-a-half bathrooms spread out on four floors. The lower level serves as living quarters for a maid or perhaps a butler along with a large play room. All public rooms including the kitchen and family rooms are on the main floor, allowing residents of the home privacy while being big enough to entertain. Four bedrooms and a master suite are located on the next floor.
Everything sounds really nice, but the full-floor penthouse takes the cake. The top floor has a grand master bedroom, separate office, entry to an outside terrace and a bathroom that resembles a spa.
