January 16, 2012 - The Los Angeles Times reports that the family of Kohl's department stores has recently found a moving company and are selling their condo in Santa Monica for $10.5 million. Allen and Anita Kohl reportedly purchased the home in 2003 for $8.1 million and first listed it in October 2011 at $12.995 million.According to the source, the building was built in 1963 but updated in 2004. Some amenities enjoyed by residents include a gym, two direct penthouse elevators, 24-hour security and gardens. The penthouse reportedly offers 360-degree views with floor-to-ceiling walls of glass throughout. The home offers 8,000 square feet of living space including five bedrooms and seven bathrooms. Other features include an office, library, a media room, two master bedrooms as well as a rooftop deck complete with a barbecue and spa.It has not been reported who will be taking their place at the top of the high-rise, but sources say the Kohl family will most likely be staying in California.
