Actress-author Michelle Greene moving out of Hollywood home

November 11, 2011 - Actress and author Michelle Greene has sold her long-time home in the Hollywood Dell in the Hollywood Hills of California. The property sold for $931,000 but was originally put on the market for $1.05 million almost a year ago.

Greene is best known for her appearances on television shows like Brothers and Sisters, L.A Law and The Unit. She is also an author with the young adult audience having written Chasing the Jaguar and more recently Keep Sweet.

The Spanish-style home was built in 1923 and underwent renovations in 2004, but still has original glass and a Batchelder tile fireplace. The 1,800-square-foot home has four bedrooms, two bathrooms and features tall ceilings, arched doorways and a lot of windows. Outside are two patios, rose and vegetable gardens and a roof deck to enjoy the California weather.

Other celebrities have called the Spanish-style property including director King Vidor and actress Helen Hayes. The LA Times reported that Greene is relocating to write a new novel.

It has not been reported who purchased the home but the new owner will inherit neighbors like actress Eva Longoria, pro skateboarder Rob Dyrdek and reality star Audrina Patridge.
