February 16, 2012 - Soap opera star Cameron Mathison has reportedly purchased a home in the San Gabriel Mountains with his wife.The Los Angeles Times reports the couple paid $1.672 million for the Spanish Colonial Revival home and will likely hire a moving company for their seventh move within 10 years.Mathison was a star on television's drama All My Children for over 12 years and has guest starred on Desperate Housewives as well as competing on Dancing With the Stars.According to The Times, the estate was built in 1928 and sits on just under half an acre of land complete with a swimming pool and a rose garden. The home has around 3,700 square feet of living space including four bedrooms and five bathrooms. The paper says the home also features a decorative staircase, wood-beamed ceilings and vintage tile throughout the home. Other upgrades include ironwork, wooden details and arched doorways.When asked about their numerous moves, Mathison told the source they don't plan on moving boxes again in the near future as the new purchase will be a permanent place to raise his family.
