Socialite Daphne Guinness packing to move out of New York apartment

February 1, 2012 - Celebrity real estate site Curbed reports that the heiress of Guinness, Daphne Guinness, has listed her home in New York's Upper East Side for sale at $14 million. The artist/designer reportedly purchased the apartment for around $15.5 million when she made the small move in 2008.

The site reports that Guinness previously faced lawsuits after she flooded the downstairs neighbor's home which asked for nearly $1 million for repairs and mental anguish.

The home reportedly has 4,118 square feet of living space including four bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms. The source says that there is also a separate studio previously used for guests available for an extra $1.5 million.

Photos of the home with Guinness' belongings still in it showcase her love of art such as work hung in the foyer which was painted by Damien Hirst according to Curbed. The apartment is conveniently located across from the Metropolitan Museum and has views of Central Park.

It has not been reported where the heiress will be relocating to but she will likely remain in New York to continue to pursue her career in art and design.
