Singer Brandon Boyd selling one California home and moving into another

January 23, 2012 - Real estate blog The Real Estalker reports that the lead singer of Incubus, Brandon Boyd, has lowered the asking price of his home in Venice, California, and recently snatched up another home in the city. The singer purchased the home in November 2005 for $2.715 million from actress Maria Bello but is finally packing all of his belongings.

Boyd originally listed his 3,500-square foot home for $3.495 million in August 2011, but the sources says the price of the beach house was recently knocked down to $3.195 million. The estate was built in 1905 and has three bedrooms and three bathrooms. Other features of the home include built-in bookshelves, wooden floors, office and a small music studio.

The outside of the beach house is painted a vintage shade of mint green and hazed glass blocking replaces windows, offering the celebrity much needed privacy. The source says there is also a small sitting area decorated with vintage patio furniture as well as a tiled courtyard.

The blog questions Boyd's relocating into a smaller home in Venice, especially since it is further from the ocean.
