January 26, 2012 - Sources report that former New York Yankees player Jorge Posada is looking for a homebuyer to purchase his Upper East Side condo, which he is listing for $11.5 million.Posada reportedly merged two condos in The Seville to make one full-floor living space, purchasing the second in 2007 for just over $3.5 million.The news of his real estate move comes just after announcing that he is retiring from playing in the MLB. Posada has been with the Yankees for 17 years including a couple of World Series championships.The addition added 2,300 square feet of living space for a total 5,600-square-foot condo including four bedrooms and five-and-a-half bathrooms. Other features of the home include a modest-sized kitchen loaded with high-end appliances, a wet bar and a den.In addition to the home's upgrades, the building offers residents celeb-status amenities, including doorman services, a private garage, top-of-the-line fitness facility, swimming pool, sauna and spa.Sources say Posada and his family will likely be spending time in their other million-dollar homes in Florida since he is no longer committed to New York.
