Oscar winner Hilary Swank selling Pacific Palisades property

September 26, 2012 - West Coast fans of actress Hilary Swank may be sad to hear she may be calling for movers, as she her fancy home in the affluent neighborhood of Pacific Palisades has been listed for sale. The celebrity real estate blog The Real Estalker notes the home has appeared on the market with an asking price of $9.495 million, around $2.5 million more than she paid for the property back in 2007.

According to the blog, the house underwent some major restorations by star-approved architects Mark Appleton and Mark Zeff. With 6,722 square feet of living space including six bedrooms and six-and-a-half bathrooms, the estate is one of the larger properties in the neighborhood, which is also home to other celebrities who choose to live outside of Hollywood and Los Angeles.

The home may be appealing to another celebrity who enjoys a simple and chic design, as Swank has decorated the home in mostly white and creams with the addition of multiple chandeliers throughout.

While it has not been reported where she will be relocating to, she may escape back to the $3.575 million Manhattan condo she purchased in 2009.
