February 15, 2012 - While many of the headlines about the late Whitney Houston are regarding the recent tribute to her at the Grammys, real estate sites report her former New Jersey mansion has also been listed for sale. The property was originally listed back in 2009 at $2.5 million, but the price has since been reduced to $1.75 million.Houston shared the home with ex-husband and rumored bad influence Bobby Brown, but both were packing boxes after their divorce. The house was featured on the reality television show Being Bobby Brown which debuted in 2005. The couple was married on the property which has also played host to numerous star-studded parties.The home was reportedly built in 1992 and has 12,561 square feet of living space including five bedrooms and five bathrooms. The estate sits on a gated 5 acres of land with upgrades including tall ceilings, a four-car garage and floor-to-ceiling windows.Before calling for moving services, interested buyers must meet a requirement of having $1.5 million in liquid assets or a loan preapproval.
