January 9, 2012 - Real estate website Curbed.com reports the co-founder of Ace Hotel, Wade Weigel, is moving out of his home in California's Palm Springs. The home was recently listed for $1.2 million.Ace Hotel originated in Seattle and has since expanded to metropolitan areas including New York, Portland and Miami. Weigel and partner also started Rudy's Barbershops which have gained popularity with celeb clientele.The home sits on just under a half acre of land and reportedly has 3,600 square feet of living space including four bedrooms and five bathrooms. Other features of the home include french doors, oak hardwood floors, beamed ceilings and a luxury master suite.The property listing has dubbed the home's title the Mesa Tennis Estate because of its private tennis court that overlooks the mountains. Other amenities outside of the home include a saltwater pool and spa, as well as large patio space which makes the home perfect for entertaining guests.It has not been reported where Weigel will be relocating to, but sources say he is making plenty of money for his next purchase.
