January 30, 2012 - After being spotted checking out homes in Bel Air, sources confirm that chef Gordon Ramsay will be moving into a California mansion. He reportedly paid $6.75 million for the large home, much less than the $18.75 million home he looked at in early 2011.Ramsay is a well-known British chef and is the infamously angry host of television's Hell Kitchen and MasterChef. More recently, he has become a spokesperson for the Acura car brand and is designing a line of housewares. He will also be starring in a new reality show called Hotel Hell which may be why he is relocating to the Los Angeles area.The home was built in 2003 and has 7,400 square feet of living space with five bedrooms and six bathrooms. The estate sits on one acre of land and offers view of the canyon, city and ocean. Other features of the guard-gated home include oversized living space, a swimming pool and of course, a top-of-the-line kitchen.Ramsay may be calling for international moving companies to help him get some of his belongings over from his current home in London.
