Elin Nordegren buys new $12M home

March 22, 2011 - Tiger Woods' ex-wife hiring a moving service and relocating to a new home just 10 miles away from her ex-husband's new Jupiter Island home.

Reports say Elin Nordegren paid $12.2 million for a new mansion in Seminole Landing, an exclusive neighborhood near North Palm Beach, Florida. Nordegren will be relocating to the new home with the couple's two children, Sam and Charlie, within the next few weeks, reports said. The two-story beachfront home comprises more than 17,000 square feet and features a basement bigger than many people's entire homes - at 4,700 square feet.

Nordegren had been spending the better part of the past six months between her native Sweden and the couple's former Orlando home. She received a $100 million settlement as part of her divorce from Woods, which came after a series widely-publicized allegations that indicated the superstar golfer led a life of impropriety.

Woods recently wrote on his blog that preparations are nearly complete at his new Jupiter Island mansion, to which he'll be moving within the next few months. The property includes a state-of-the-art golf facility, which Woods said would help improve his short- and mid-range game.
