Alec Baldwin moving on up and done with El Dorado
November 1, 2011 - Alec Baldwin is officially having the best week ever as he prepares to relocate to his new $11.5 million penthouse downtown at the Devonshire House in Greenwich Village, New York.
The star is rumored to be making the move so he can be closer to his newest love interest and yoga instructor Hilaria Thomas. The new home is reported to have four bedrooms, four-and-a-half bathrooms and a rooftop garden, perfect for the Zen-seeking couple.
As if moving into what was formerly six rental units isn’t enough, he is also celebrating the selling of his $9.5 million home in New York’s El Dorado. The former home features park, reservoir and skyline views, in addition to tons of natural light.
The 22nd-floor, 3,000-square-foot residence has only been on the market since August but comes complete with three bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths, a wood-burning fireplace and possibly best of all, a perfect view of Central Park.
The new resident of El Dorado better have a lot of moving boxes to fill Baldwin’s infamous amount of closet space. In true star fashion, his new pad reportedly has its own dressing room.
