Country princess LeAnn Rimes is opening her estate to renters
June 1, 2011 - After failing to sell her custom-built Franklin, Tennessee mansion, country superstar and small screen actress LeAnn Rimes is taking rental applications, according to the Zillow Blog.
The singer, who ended her marriage to her back-up-dancer husband Dean Sheremet in 2009, recently married Eddie Cibrian, the actor with whom she was rumored to have had an affair, according to the source.
Rimes and Sherenet purchased the five-acre plot of land in 2006 and proceeded to build their custom-designed dream home. The home hit the real estate market soon after the couple split and has seen several price cuts since, according to Luxist.
The seven-bedroom, nine-and-a-half bathroom Tudor-style mega-mansion is currently listed with Worth Properties LLC for a cool $5.8 million. The Zillow Blog reports that the estate has a bevy of specialty features, including a yoga studio, media room and opulent guest quarters. A salt-water swimming pool, immense garden and views of the Nashville skyline round out the property's appealing attributes.
For those who are not ready to become homeowners, the property is available to rent for $25,000 per month. While there is a kennel on site, those moving with pets should be wary as the Zillow Blog warns that they will only be accepted on a case-by-case basis.
