"Borat" may become a landlord
October 6, 2011 - Sacha Baron Cohen, the English actor most famous for portraying Kazakh reporter Borat, is making his former home available to both buyers and renters, according to Curbed.
Cohen and wife Isla Fisher have already ordered the moving company to Laurel Canyon, but they have been unable to unload their Hollywood Hills spread. Cohen first put the home on the real estate market in 2010, and has recently decided to make the property available to renters for $11,000 per month until an interested homebuyer makes a bid on the $2.9 million property, the source reports.
The home has three bedrooms, two-and-a-half bathrooms and 2,806 square feet of living space. Hopefully, the new renters do not have pets or children as the home is awash in white. From the inside out, the structure has white walls, white cabinets and a white tile bathroom, the Real Estalker reports.
The master bedroom has wood-beamed ceilings, custom built-in cabinetry and a walk-in closet. Hardwood floors and tall ceilings make the space feel large and airy, while French doors add character. There is also a swimming pool and sunbathing area for the new residents to enjoy after moving day, the source explains.
