Pop star Rihanna is moving out of Beverly Hills home
November 8, 2011 - Grammy award winner Rihanna has just put her swanky Beverly Hills home on the market for $4.5 million.
She purchased the home in 2009 for $6.9 million, but has recently filed a lawsuit against the previous homeowner, inspector and engineer after the home flooded in 2010 due to faulty design of a balcony. The singer claims she was unaware of the defects in the home and claims she paid more money than the home’s value, hence the decrease in the listed price.
Regardless of legal action, Rihanna seems to have really enjoyed living in the three-story home that sits in California’s Hollywood Hills with superstar neighbors. The house has reportedly entertained music friends such as Justin Timberlake. The modern 10,000-square-foot mansion has eight bedrooms and ten bathrooms, plenty of room for celeb-status slumber parties.
Other extras within the house include a steam room, pool, sauna and a home theatre. Photos of the home show windows without curtains - also showcasing the surrounding celebrity-owned properties. Inside, the home has chic decor - mostly white with dark wood floora and an occasional pop of color.
Despite being listed as a fixer-upper, the home should be ready for movers in no time.
