Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie selling Malibu home
November 2, 2011 - Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have an extensive real estate portfolio including homes in Hollywood, New Orleans and some properties overseas in Italy and France. But the power-couple has one of their California properties up for grabs and another celebrity is interested.
Their Malibu mansion is on the market for $13.75 million and Hollywood Heavy reports they are selling to upgrade to a bigger home in the area. The Malibu property is actually two separate homes that both sit beach-side.
This home is perfect for a large family, like Brad and Angelina’s, offering four bedrooms and four bathrooms - totaling over 4,000 square feet of living area. It recently underwent renovations, including the addition of an environmentally friendly second floor, designed by Christopher Sorensen. Inside, the home has a stainless steel chef’s kitchen and bamboo floors.
Other appealing features include a lap pool, tennis court, outside garden fireplace and floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the ocean.
Reese Witherspoon is one of the celebrities that has walked through and is reported to have been impressed by the home, but no moving company has been called just yet.
