Tom Brady sells New York City condo

March 24, 2011 - After it sat on the market for four years, superstar quarterback Tom Brady was finally able to shed his New York City condominium and get on with moving to his new home in Los Angeles.

Although it sat on the market for a while, Brady was still able to sell the property at a gain, according to reports. Robert Stiller - the founder of Green Mountain Coffee and the richest man in Vermont - paid $17.5 million for the apartment, $3.5 million more than Brady paid when he purchased it in 2006. The three bedroom, three and a half bathroom condo is located in Manhattan's Time Warner Center.

"Impeccably designed," the home "that awaits atop this soaring five star residence will captivate even the most discerning NYC luxury-seeker with its sweeping Central Park & river to river views," real estate agent Raphael DeNiro - a top broker with Prudential Douglas Elliman and the son of Hollywood heavyweight Robert DeNiro - wrote in the property listing.

Reports added Brady, the man under center for the New England Patriots, would be hiring a moving company and moving into his new custom-built home in Los Angeles, which features eight bedrooms and a wealth of state-of-the-art fitness amenities.
