Who is AMSA?

Established in 1936, the American Moving and Storage Association is a non profit trade association based out of Washington D.C. With more than 3,500 professional mover members, AMSA is dedicated to making your move successful every step of the way. One of AMS''s goals is a well-informed public that better understands the value of professional moving service.

The American Moving and Storage Association is a member-driven and offers a complete range of services to its members.

AMSA members transport between 1.3 and 1.5 million households each year.

People want to go Greenville, South Carolina because of its fantastic mountain views, amazing parks and its diverse southern communities. There are great initiatives to make the city even better despite the great variety of things to do already. There is a project called Greenville Forward that relays the vision of Greenville 20 years down the line for people. Community leaders and politicians hope to become one of the most livable places in the country utilizing their current and growing arts scene, enormous healthcare system, green environmental movement initiatives and cultural town centers to lure more people to moving to Greenville. The focus on the city’s people and the work that has been put in place to create a community that cultivates excellence has done Greenville a lot of good in the last couple years. Economy:
Greenville, South Carolina’s economy was built on the textile industry, but that is no longer the case. Tourism:
As one of the biggest cities in Upstate South Carolina, there’s a lot visitors can find to do here in Greenville. There are various music performance theaters as well as theater companies that are well-known around the world that feature grand arena, home to world-class performances. There’s the Bi-Lo Center with over 16,000 seats and the Peace Center that features Broadway shoes and symphonies. For golfers, Greenville is home to one of the most coveted golf destinations called the CrossWinds Golf Club. The CrossWinds is the only course in the entire word where each hole was designed by a unique designer. Other grandiose landmarks of Greenville, South Carolina include Falls Park on the Reedy—a large regional park in the West End.

History:
Greenville, South Carolina is a city upstate that has been successful since the 1900s. At the turn of the century, Greenville hosted the nation’s largest textile mills. There were over 40,000 workers that came here to weave, spin and operate machinery. Even more people started moving to Greenville in the 1930s when cars and trolleys became more prominent. The population with the growth of the Upstate economic center grew to 53, 487 people. Railroads, newspapers and residential areas developed quickly in this progressive town.
