Bad Move

I thought by going to a more expensive mover I would get better service. No-my house was damaged, I was intimidated by the movers to give them more money to move my washer/dryer (even though it was in the contract.). The cost I paid was different from the cost that I recived and I overpaid by $300. I am still waiting for the explanation. For new movers. Get everything in writing first. Do be intimidated. The most expensive is not always the best.

Our services were obtained to assist in the coordination of your move. Our claims department was previously in contact with you regarding the procedure and documents necessary in order to file a claim; however, records indicate that you no longer wished to pursue a claim. Our claims department is available to assist you should you wish to file a claim for any damages sustained. Per the elected estimate for service agreed upon, the price quoted is indicated as an estimate only and the actual cost cannot be determined until after the tuck has been weighed. As a result of additional weight being serviced, the balance due increased accordingly as described within our Terms and Conditions excerpt number (8) signed and agreed upon by you. Records indicate that once our office was informed of your concern regarding the additional charges, a supervisor provided an explanation of your charges as well as requested a document indicating the total cost of your move be forwarded for your review which you confirmed was received. All necessary documents outlining the service we provide as well as the specifications regarding your move coordination were provided prior to your load dates. Should you wish to further discuss your move, please feel free to contact us.

The company was fantastic with the entire process. The truck was delayed on the day of the move (to the fault of another customer), but other than that timing was excellent. The only piece of broke...

My driver was Bruno and he was the best mover I have ever had. Professional and courteous at all times. The move went very smoothly, I could not have asked for more.

The overall move went well, but the movers could not get an important piece of furniture to the upstairs bedroom. We will have to use another third party to complete the move.
