Avoid using "Moving Experts, LLC"

There was bad weather on the day of my relocation (snow). The moving company contacted me to inform me that they may not want to do the job in such bad weather. I said that we could do another day, yet I had to be out by March 1, 2010. They called back and said that their weekend was so booked that they will just relocate me on our scheduled date. I was concerned about additional time the bad weather could add on to the job. They assured me we could work out and adjustment on the time due to the storm once the job was complete. Due to the weather the job did take longer than originally expected. At the end, I called the office to discuss the adjustment we discussed earlier that morning. He said no adjustment would be made. He then had me speak with the owner who threatened to call the sheriff on me and have the movers reload and take all of my things to a storage unit. This was completely inappropriate and unnecessary as I never said I wouldn't pay; I was simply following up on what I was told by the office earlier that morning. This situation was handled so poorly that I would never do business with them again. I regret going with this moving company. Also, one of the movers broke my lamp while handling.
