Awful Moving Experience
The
movers were actually on time and courteous, but the move went way over time. There is no real reason this should have happened since I did a lot of the work and all boxes were staged in one room. Days after the move an additional charge was placed, without my consent, to cover the time they wasted during the move. After three months, no one would ever return my call or even acknowledge their failure to complete an error free satisfactory move. Be very careful giving credit information to this vendor, as they will place charges without consent. In short, I cannot recommend this mover due to their horrid customer service and business practices.

We go through a detailed quote with every customer over the phone and then send them the quote through email so they can review it before making a final decision. This customer called our office in early December (12/06/10) to receive a quote for
moving assistance. During the process of the quote we went through an inventory of how many bedrooms there were, we asked if there were any stairs/elevators and the items he wanted to have moved. He said that he had stairs/elevators and he gave us a list of all his items to be moved. He was explained the detail of the quote from how much the hourly rate was going to be and how many men would he needed. His quote clearly stated two movers at $87 an hour for 3 hours. Any additional hours would be charged at the same rate of $87 an hour for each hour.He was also sent an email of the quote which clearly states what items he told us he would need to be moved, the hourly rate ($87hr), how many men (2), how many hours (3), etc.. It's the same quote he was given over the phone. He agreed to the quote and was booked on 12/10/10 for later that month. He receive 20 medium boxes for free and a 10 percent discount for being a first time customer. He was sent a confirmation email for his booked job and we spoke with him throughout the month to make sure everything was still the same.When our men got to the customers pick up location the first thing they do is look at all the customers belongings and go over all the paperwork before the job is started so there is no confusion. On the day in question our men got to his location and went over the paperwork with the customer before any moving took place.He signed off on the paperwork without any questions asked.
