Not A Good Experience
The initial loading of my belongings was great, with a detailed inventory and careful truck loading. However, the truck broke down during the move, and my belongings were haphazardly packed into a different truck. I was understanding of the late arrival time of the
movers, but I was not understanding of boxes being ripped and crushed and falling down when the back was opened on delivery. Many inventory labels were missing so that I could not even keep track of which boxes/pieces were coming into my new home on delivery. Also, there were three movers on loading and only two at delivery, leading to two very tired movers and the scraped day bed and entertainment center to prove it. I was lucky at the small amount of scraping of my furniture and breakage of my belongings (I am so glad I packed my belongs and did not pay the company to do it), but I would not wish this moving experience on anyone. I have yet to file claims with the moving company as I have 90 days to do so.
