Never Move from Moving Central
Moving Central subcontracted to a company called Olympia, who made the moving process a nightmare. To start off, the Moving Central guy told me all sorts of things and promised the moon... when he sent the contract, it was for 3 medium boxes and some of my home stuff... 3 medium boxes for moving an apartment (Are you kidding me)? I overlooked that part in god faith and thats the biggest mistake I made. When the Olympia guys showed up, this headmover... took a look aound the place and said nothing... they packed the whole stuff, put it out in the lobby of the apartment, moved half the stuff and then comes and tells me he cannot move the rest of the stuff unless I pay more (as it fell outside the contract)... I am no expert, but just by eyeballing the stuff I had, I could have said that my stuff would not fit in the said contract. To add to it he was utterly rude and said he would dump my stuff in the hallway if I did not pay. My calls to Moving Central went unanswered. When I sent complaint via email... they never received it (Why am I not surprised). I sweared that day that I would never move from Moving Central or recommend them. They dont understand that I could have been a client for life... My next move would be much larger but you are not getting it Moving Central. Having said all of it, I would definitely say that the delivery process was smooth and not a single good was damaged.
