Not Impressed
My move was scheduled for a Wednesday. I booked a hotel half way thru my trip for Wednesday night and had a pre employment screening in Florida on Friday. The movers called Monday night to say they wouldn't there until Thursday. Wednesday they called and said they'd arrive between 11a.m. and 3p.m.. They finally arrived at 4 p.m. They were very polite, but by the time they were done it was too late to drive from Maryland to Florida, so I missed my pre employment appointment, couldn't start work on time and had to pay the hotel cancellation fee. Then when I phoned after the movers had got my stuff dispatch would say "We don't know what day we're bringing your stuff" and they hang up on me. Then they called saying they'd bring my stuff the next day between 11 and 3 (again). They showed up at 5. My piano was scratched and they lost the legs for it, my hope chest was scratched, my Tupperware bins were so banged up the lids were dented and wouldn't actually fit on the containers anymore, stuff inside the containers was broken and the movers handed me some of my papers that had become loose in the back of the truck, the handle bar on my kids bike was broke right off. The movers, once again were very polite. But when I called the company to make a claim they told me to send an email, which I did, requesting the claim form. It's been three days and no one has replied to my email.
