My Worst Moving Experience So Far

The leader that moved me was one of the most disrespectful individuals that I've ever encountered. Not just to me, but also to his partner that he was working with. He complained about the work, took frequent smoke breaks, and was condescending to my requests that he move my larger furniture first and just generally disregarded my concerns. Moreover, he spent a great deal of time arguing with his partner about the proper way to move furniture. I felt like he was trying to drag out the time at every turn. I had hoped that hiring movers would save me time. Instead, it lengthened it because they took their sweet time moving my larger furniture (possibly thinking I'd pay them for a full day of moving to get it all) and I had to move everything else by myself. When I called Mr. Move initially, I was promised furniture pads and all of the moving supplies I'd need. These "furniture pads" turned out to be thin, old towels. All but one piece of my furniture has new scratches on it from this move. But, it's done now. I'm in my new apartment and I never have to deal with this company again.
