Not Thrilled
I was quoted $270.00 for 3 hours, 3 movers over the phone, and that was confirmed via email, but when they showed up (late), I was quoted $360.00 for 4 hours. After my initial comment regarding the quote, the driver then asked me about whether I would be tipping or not, because they typically work faster if they know they'll be tipped. This was very unprofessional, in my opinion, having been in the service industry for nearly 15 years. I was then told, that I would have to pay cash since my total was under $500.00.
Seeing I missed that in the initial contract, I rushed to the bank to get money because otherwise they were not going to unload an already full truck. I was not thrilled with the way they handled my belongings either. Although nothing was damaged, they were putting boxes on their sides and upside down, and didn't seem to take any care with my belongings. I'm very disappointed and will not use them in the future.
