Never Again With Condor
I would never use this company again to move anything of mine. I went with this company out of several that we all about the same price.
The driver showed up on time but there were only 2 guys when I was quoted 3 for the move. Everything started and I signed off on the original quote they sent me, which was $207. We looked over everything in my apt before the move, I supplied the movers with original boxes for every large item, mattress cover with handles for them to use, etc.
It took roughly 1 hour to move everything including me helping these guys load most of my items onto the truck. I had a large picture which they told me they would box for me. I thought "that's nice of them" and carried on. Later, I would find out that the box they put my picture in had a small price tag of $60! I had tape from the move they could've used and they made the box from 4 cardboard pieces and took 5 minutes for them to put together.
Small things like this started adding up. We left my apt and headed to the storage unit for my things to be unloaded. On the way I stopped by the bank to get the $207 plus a $20 tip for the 2 movers. The truck pulled up at the storage unit, told me it was going to be $385, which included more time for them to move (they were a man short), $60 cardboard box, etc.
I was furious. I then had to drive back to the bank while the movers waited. They couldn't move any items out of the truck until they had all of the money in cash. After the guys finished my move they had the nerve to ask me for a tip! I will say that the mover was very professional and did a great job with a fun attitude. The driver did not. I've used many movers over the last 10 years and this by far was the worst!
