Don't Use Liberty Moving Group
I had the most stressful horrible experience using Liberty Moving Company. First, they were late picking up our things. Our quote was for $1,740, where we included everything we owned. We decided to not bring everything, but we did move a full-size bed, a full size service bar, two bikes, a gas grill and a large dresser with a mirror. We though without including everything that we would be under our quote. Well after they packed all of our things in the truck, they informed us that we owed $3,120. This was about $1,400 more than our first quote. Their reasoning was that our items were oversized. This was not true and like I said we did not move several things that was included in the quote. We called the office and the manager was rude and basically said "tough luck and that we had to pay." I asked how much it would cost just to take our things off the truck, and he said $1,000. We basically had our hands tied. Fortunately, I was very persistent and was able to talk them down to $2,500. Once they did deliver our things there were things missing and all end tables and the entertainment center was scratched up. I would not recommend this company.
