Full of surprises
When the moving company arrived, they had no boxes. It was a marvel that my girlfriend and I had many boxes we got to cut costs, so we packed many items in our own boxes. When I asked about the boxes, I was told they were extra. The movers were courteous and did some extra things like moving out old appliances we weren't going to use. When I paid I was told that would be a two or three percent surcharge for using a debit card. It wasn't a lot of money, but I could have been told upfront. When a moving company comes and they don't have boxes, it is surprising. Check thoroughly what you are getting beforehand. If they had boxed up all of our belongings, I am sure we would have paid close to $1,000 or more.
